News from the Packinghouse

Jeanne Hardin, our packing manager, has pulled together an extremely well-organized and efficient team this year which has allowed us to move ahead of schedule.  Because of this, we have been able to modify the cut-off dates for Christmas orders. 

Far West and Midwest

• Was extended through December 17^th. 

East Coast

• We can guarantee orders received through today, December 18^th.  We MAY be able to accept additional orders through December 19^th.  Please contact our Customer Service department to confirm.   

Expedite Program

We are pleased to offer a two-day expedite program on the #70 packs, and quarter bushel packs.  For an additional $10.00, these packs will ship through Federal Express’ Door to Door plan.  The orders must reach the packinghouse by 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 22.   If you wish to include other packs in this program, please contact our Customer Service department for pricing.   All varieties will be available. 

Post Card Programs

Mailing of the Honeybell announcement post cards began December 12^th and will continue through December 20^th.    

Mailing of the “It’s not too late for Christmas” postcards will begin tonight, December 18^th, and will continue through December 20^th. 

Order Tracking

Our customer service department has received positive feedback on the order tracking program, and we encourage those of you who have not yet checked it out to do so.  Unfortunately, a few customers have experienced problems when utilizing this program and we ask that you work closely with our customer service department to resolve them.

Customer Service and Office Closing

Customer Service Manager Janice Smith has formed an exceptional team to take your calls and resolve any problems you may have.  Penny Hollis and Rita Diane Carroll will continue to be available to take your calls through Tuesday, December 23^rd.  We are giving our staff a well deserved rest as we close the office December, 24, December 25 and December 26.   We encourage you to utilize the order tracking program while our office is closed.  Customer service will return on Saturday December 28^th to assist you. 

Customer Service Hours:

Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
